Service Description

It's Time To Come From Behind The Keyboards! Let's Meet Face to Face … Get to know one another before we delve into the heaviness of hate and racism. MAAR virtual weekend workshop conversations are designed for you to reflect on how you use and benefit from white privilege. This conversation may at times be uncomfortable. We encourage you to be open and embrace the discomfort because that is where you find growth. There are no "right" or "wrong" answers, only the benefits of cultivating a deeper and more compassionate and empathic awareness. White privilege is a thing, but it’s not the only thing. Once you understand your privilege, you can start to change the way Black people are valued and treated in America. The power you have can help end the systemic and institutional racism Black people experience daily. Later we can schedule a 1:1 for a more intimate and personal session. Start by understanding your own power and privilege….and checking your heart. This is the first of a series of anti-racism conversations. Thank you for taking the first step our your journey to "Allyship" with MAAR in combating Systemic Racism, HATE, and all of its derived byproducts; Racism, bigotry, prejudice, anti-Semitism, marginalization, and disenfranchisement!
